What Moves Me | BR Spring

Hi dolls! It's so good to have you back on my blog, and for those of you that are visiting for the first time, welcome! As you may know I recently returned from a trip to Asia, and I must say that once again I was taken aback by how much beauty there is to see in the world. I am so blessed to have the opportunity to travel and I try to take a part of each place I visit with me and cherish the many memories I make along the way. Each and every new place changes me and makes me a more tolerant and understanding person.  Nothing compares to the feeling of silently standing in a foreign place, breathing in the air and taking in your surroundings. What Moves Me the most during my travels are the little things, like the interactions and connections I make with people of different cultures, religions and nationalities; complete strangers who may only cross my path for a very small moment in time, but leave a lasting impact on me.

I have noticed that my sense of style is also influenced by my travels, and I see details in certain fashion pieces that remind me of a place I visited. In particular, today's outfits remind me very much of my trip to Sri Lanka because of the embellishments, color combinations and metallic details.  My favorite piece is this off white Fit & Flare Dress from Banana Republic's Spring Collection. I am drawn to the clean lines of this dress, and the flares that make it not only classy but also fun. Another piece I am madly in love with, is the Metallic Flutter Hem Tank, which I paired with the Heritage Wide Leg Crop Pant, to add a bit of contrast.

BR never disappoints during Spring time and this year is no exception. This collection is all about What Move Us -  and the more I thought about what it is that Moves Me, I realized how much of an impact the little things in life have on me.

                                                                    Until next time..
