Turning Twenty-Somethin'

Hello my loves! As you know, or may not know (if you don't, shame on you!) I celebrated my birthday yesterday, but the truth is, I have really been celebrating all week. Although the week has been filled with the usual birthday shenanigans, there is something different about this birthday, I am officially twenty-somethin' which is a nicer way of saying that you are in your late twenties.

Looking back, this year has been a bit of a roller-coaster for me, as life often can be, but most recently I have felt a new wave of positive energy. This is definitely one of those moments in my life where I am looking for a deeper meaning in everything, but life in particular. I am not content with the average, boring life that so many people get accustomed to, I simply want to do better. I am not talking about monetary things, rather a richness in character, purpose and accomplishments. There is so much more to life than working, eating and sleeping. I want to take the time to get to know the world and the amazing people in it, to enjoy my life and to feel content with the way I am spending my time. The older I get, and let's be real, I'm not old, the more selfish I have become with my time. I now understand how fast it truly flies and refuse to waste it on ways that will not return the energy I am looking to exchange.

That being said, I am looking forward to what this year has to bring, both personally and professionally. In particular, I can't wait to announce which five cities in Europe I will be visiting later this year and all the fun projects that are coming my way. Here is to being a year wiser and looking five years younger, here's to being twenty-somethin' ;) Cheers!
